Romário de Souza Faria (Brazilian Portuguese: [?o?ma??iu) is a Brazilian politician and former footballer. He is one of the few players to score at least 100 goals for three clubs. A prolific striker renowned for his clinical finishing, he scored over 700 goals in 1002 official games. He starred for Brazil in their 1994 FIFA World Cup triumph, receiving the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. Romario started his political career in 2010, when he was elected deputy for the Socialist Party.
