Romário de Souza Faria (Brazilian Portuguese: [?o?ma??iu) is a Brazilian politician and professional footballer. He is one of the few players to score at least 100 goals for three clubs. A prolific striker renowned for his clinical finishing, he scored over 700 goals in 1002 official games. He won the Golden Ball as player of the 1994 FIFA World Cup with Brazil at the 1994 World Cup. Romario started his political career in 2010, when he was elected deputy for the Brazilian Socialist Party.
