When does PBS NewsHour return?

PBS NewsHour is an American evening television news program broadcast on over 350 PBS member stations. It airs seven nights a week, and is known for its in-depth coverage of issues and current events. The program debuted in 1975 as The Robert MacNeil Report, a half-hour local news program on WNET, which debuted on October 20, 1975. In 1983, the show was rebranded as The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, and then The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer following MacNeil's departure in 1995.
