Murderbot is an upcoming American science fiction thriller-comedy television series for Apple TV+. It is based on the book series The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz are writing, directing and producing the series. The series stars Alexander Skarsgård. The first season will consist of ten episodes.
A sentient security android must mask the ability for free thought whilst completing dangerous assignments. The android is simultaneously drawn to humans and appalled at their weakness.
