Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace
originally aired on Adult Swim
World Peace is an American comedy television series starring and created by sketch comedy group Million Dollar Extreme. The show premiered on Adult Swim on August 5, 2016, and averaged 896,720 viewers over its run. It was produced in-house by Rent Now Productions, Inc., and shot in Atlanta, Georgia. It had garnered controversy largely due to creator Sam Hyde's association with the alt-right. The network faced internal opposition to its continuation due to complaints about dog-whistling and alleged harassment from Hyde and his fans.
World Peace was the Adult Swim standard of eleven minutes in length. The show claimed to be set in a post-apocalyptic nightmare world that satirizes the current political climate. The end of each episode featured a musical guest.
