When does Midsomer Murders return?

Midsomer Murders is a British crime drama mystery television series. It has been broadcast on the ITV network since its premiere on 23 March 1997. The stories revolve around the efforts of Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby and his successor, DCI John Barnaby, to solve numerous murders that take place in the picturesque but deadly villages of the fictional county of Midsomers. The programme has featured two lead stars: from its premiere in 1997, John Nettles as DCI (DCI) Tom. The show's official social media confirmed that production of series 21 began in March 2019.
