Life & Beth is an American comedy-drama television series created by Amy Schumer. It premiered on Hulu on March 18, 2022. The series follows wine salesperson Beth who realizes that she is dissatisfied with her life when her mother unexpectedly dies. The storyline in season 2 involving Matt suddenly discovering he has a teenage daughter is partially based on a real-life event that happened to the actor playing Matt Kane.
Beth's seemingly ideal life is upended when a sudden incident forces her to engage with her past.
