Lanterns is a television series based on the Green Lantern characters Hal Jordan and John Stewart. It will be the third television series in the DC Universe. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre will star as Jordan and Stewart as they investigate a mystery on Earth. The series could not use the main Green Lanterns from the comic books, because they were being reserved for DC Extended Universe films.
