Alberto Aguilera Valadez was born in Parácuaro, Michoacán, Mexico, in 1950. He was nicknamed Juanga (pronounced [?xwa??a] and El Divo de Juárez) Juan Gabriel was one of the best Mexican composers and singers of all time. His nineteenth studio album, Recuerdos, Vol. II, is reportedly the best-selling album in Mexico. Rolling Stone ranked Gabriel at number 172 on its list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.
