Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language period drama television series created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Set against the Indian independence movement against the British Raj in the 1940s, it stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal. The series will be released on Netflix on 1 May 2024.
Heeramandi is about the lives of tawaifs living at the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore. Set against the Indian independence movement against the British Raj in the 1940s.
