The miniseries is set to premiere on Netflix on January 25, 2024. It is based on the life of Griselda Blanco, a notorious Colombian drug lord in the cocaine-based drug trade and underworld of Miami, Florida in the 1980s. Sofía Vergara will star as the "Godmother of Cocaine" The cast also includes 12 newly added cast members, including Vanessa Aidén Martinez and Julieth Restrepo.
