The series premiered on Paramount Network, Showtime and CMT on December 4, 2022, with Showtime as its primary network. It is based on the book The Three of Us: Growing Up with Tammy and George by Georgette Jones. A soundtrack featuring songs from the show was released digitally from Sony Masterworks on December 16, 2022.
