The reunion special was hosted by James Corden and executive produced by the show's co-creators, Marta Kauffman and David Crane, Kevin S. Bright, and the main cast, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. It was Matthew Perry's final on-screen appearance prior to his death in October 2023 at the age of 54.
