Frankelda's Book of Spooks is a Mexican stop motion animated television series. The series stars a ghostwriter who is trapped in the consciousness of a sentient haunted house for 150 years. She tells tales of terror with the assistance of her grumpy enchanted book Herneval. 122 puppets and 42 sets were created for the series. A spinoff exploring the backstory was announced at the Pixelatl 2022 festival, later being confirmed as a movie.
