When does Firefly return?

The series is set in the year 2517, after the arrival of humans in a new star system. It follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a "Firefly-class" spaceship. The show premiered in the United States on the Fox network on September 20, 2002. It was canceled after 11 of the 14 produced episodes were aired.
The series takes place in the year 2517, on a variety of planets with numerous habitable moons. The show takes its name from the "Firefly-class" spaceship Serenity that the central characters call home. The central planets are firmly under Alliance control, but the outlying planets resemble the American Old West.
