Joseph Antonio Cartagena, aka Fat Joe, is an American rapper. He was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1970. He is the son of Puerto Rican and Cuban immigrants. Fat Joe was a member of D.I.T.C. hip hop group Diggin' in the Crates Crew in 1992. His debut album, Represent, was released in 1993. His third studio album, Jealous One's Envy (1995), was released with Terror Squad Productions in 1998.
