Twelve teams are sent into a forested area around Madeley Lake in British Columbia, Canada. The Competitors are isolated in the wilderness and must do whatever they can (such as finding food and building shelter) to sustain themselves while their actions are monitored by cameras throughout the area. The last team remaining will win a grand prize of $250,000.
