East of Eden is an upcoming limited television series from Zoe Kazan. It is adapted from John Steinbeck's 1952 novel of the same name. Florence Pugh was first linked to the project in 2022, and leads the cast as well as co-producing. The series is adapted by Kazan, whose grandfather Elia Kazan directed the 1955 film adaptation of the novel. Garth Davis will direct the first four episodes and is an executive producer.
