Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American television comedy of manners created by Larry David. It premiered on HBO with an hour-long special in October 17, 1999, followed by 12 seasons broadcast from October 15, 2000, to April 7, 2024. David stars as a fictionalized version of himself and it follows his life as a semi-retired television writer and producer in Los Angeles and New York City. The show is set and filmed in various affluent Westside communities of Los Angeles, as well as in the adjacent cities of Beverly Hills, Culver City, and Santa Monica.
The series stars David as a fictionalized version of himself. Like the real-life David, the character is well known as a co-creator and main co-writer of Seinfeld. Episodes frequently center on his ignorance of or disregard for social conventions and expectations.
