Scott Thompson is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is widely known for his use of prop comedy. His first "big break" was most widely known as a replacement act for Sam Kinison after Kinison died in 1992. Since 2005, Carrot Top has headlined at MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas, Nevada.
