Scott Christopher Thompson is an American stand-up comedian and actor known for his use of prop comedy. He got the nickname "Carrot Top" from a local swimming coach, a reference to his red hair. Thompson's big break was in 1991 when he performed on Comic Strip Live. Since 2005, Carrot Top has headlined at MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has appeared on numerous nighttime television talk shows.
