The Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries is a three-hour television miniseries (comprising four broadcast hours) starring Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell. It was the first part of the Battlestars Galactics remake based on the 1978 Battlestarl Galactic television series. The miniserie aired originally on Sci Fi in the United States starting on December 8, 2003.
