Angel

The series was created and executive produced by Jess Oppenheimer, and stars Annie Fargé as the title character. The name Angelique Bouchard would later be used for a main character on the soap opera Dark Shadows, portrayed by Lara Parker. Angel was broadcast at 9 pm Eastern on Thursday evenings between October 6, 1960, and April 13, 1961.
The series focuses on Angel (David Boreanaz), an Irish vampire who is over 240 years old. Angel was known as Angelus during his rampages across Europe, but was cursed with a soul. He left Buffy the Vampire Slayer at the end of season 3 to move to Los Angeles in search of redemption.
