America's Funniest People debuted on May 13, 1990, as a 30 minute television special. The green-lit series aired as a weekly half-hour prime time series from September 9, 1990 to June 5, 1994. It was hosted by Dave Coulier and Arleen Sorkin from 1990 to 1992.
