A Garfield Christmas Special is a 1987 American animated television special based on the Garfield comic strip. It is directed by Phil Roman and stars Lorenzo Music as the voice of Garfield the house cat. The special was first broadcast on December 21, 1987, on CBS and was often rebroadcast in subsequent years at Christmastime: until 2000. It was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program.
