It followed the story of amateur archaeologist Peter Hellinga, who returned from Mexico with an ancient Mayan Codex that predicted events for the year 2012. After his discovery, Peter was attacked, and he confided in his grandchildren Hidde and Twan, instructing them to keep the codex safe. The children, along with their friends Masha and Felix, embarked on a quest to find Peter and uncover the truth behind the mysterious document.
